Not according to plan!

So after we left a cafe in Penang, we wonder around the town looking for a place to eat. We found the red garden which had all types of malaysiain food, but first we had to get our bags from the ferry dock before 6:30, so we started back. On the way we saw a beautiful rainbow with a big storm behind it (I took it as a warning but not serious enough).


We got to the ferry dock at 6:15 and saw the cafe where we left our bags was closing, worried we hurried over the lady there said that we were late and we should of been there at 6:30. When we told her we where early, she reviled to us that we were still on Thailand time, and that it was actually 7:15. That explains why the train was really an hour early... Opps! After apologiesing and collecting our bags we switch out clocks to the correct time.

We then wanted to take the free shuttle to the red garden for dinner. After we missed the first bus  we asked the next bus driver if he went pass it. Yes, yes no problem was our reply, so on the bus we went. First this guy was a horrible driver, he watch way to much formula 1 car racing and thought the bus was a race car, second he went no where near the red garden! When we realized this we thought to get off, but then thought he would make around trip back to the ferry so worse case senario we would have a hour trip to the ferry. We were wrong! After getting very worried we discovered that we had a round the island trip! Where at the middle  of no where as the last people on the bus he pulls over and says " last stop get out". What last stop get out! All we wanted was dinner that was a 20 min walk away not a island trip. By this time it was 9pm our train left at 11pm so we hurried to the bus that would take us back to the ferry in an hour. The bus left at 9:15, then the driver was the oppisit to the other one he was diving a wheelchair. Not only was I stressing out about the bus going so slow I was stressing about the train, hopping it was late but we still had about an hour. But as it was not our day, and the bus driver with a bus full of passengers stopped for gas!!! Ahh I wanted to yell at him, but oh well. We tanked up for ten minutes and continued on our way. We were now pressed for time if we did not make the next ferry we would not make the train, unless it was late. We jumped out of the bus and ran to the ferry! We were 30 secs late and miss the dam ferry and watched float away! We waited half an hour hoping the train was late but it was not so we had to go back to the island to find a room so back on the ferry! We the took a taxi to a close cheap hotel room and fell straight into bed.

The next morning we woke up at 6, and took the next train to KL, since there was no second class left we had to take 1st class... But asia 1st class oh well we are on our way to Kl !!! Have fun reading!
